Week 11

11. November – Day 63
On Monday, we met Richárd, who picked us up in front of the apartment building. He took us to his workshop in Szolnok, where he gave us a tour. He asked us to think about whether we’d like to work on any projects there in the future and what kind of projects we might be interested in.

12. November – Day 64
Thursday was a free day. I went to Interspar to buy some things.

13. November – Day 65
In the morning Lana and me were at a school and played some games with the children.
There was a kind of open day.

In the afternoon I had Mentoring.

14. November – Day 66
I went to the youth center to work at 2 p.m., but I was alone because Anna and Robi decided they didn’t need to come, and Lana was sick. At the youth center, I helped Rold and Richárd clean and take down decorations that were still up from Rita’s birthday party.

15. November – Day 67
On Friday, there was an event organized by Csenge, who also helps at the youth center. She launched an online auction, which will run for a month, featuring her animal photography. The proceeds will go toward treatment for a health condition she has.
As volunteers, we helped hang the photos on the wall. Anna and her friend, who came all the way from Georgia to visit her, performed two songs at the event.

16. November – Day 68
Saturday was another free day. I bought a new winter jacket from New Yorker in Szolnok’s shopping district. I rode my bike there, which was exhausting, especially since the weather wasn’t great. However, I managed to take some nice photos.
