On Wednesday, we attended the workshop and started planning a tech-related club where people could learn 3D modeling, programming, math, English, and music.

5th March – Day 165

On Tuesday, we visited a facility for people with special needs for the first time. We were given a tour of the facility, and from now on, Jordan, Nino, Salome, and I will go there every Tuesday to help.

6th March – Day 166

On Thursday, we worked at the youth center.

7th March – Day 167

On Friday, a group of people came to the youth center, and Csenge made a type of donuts. We spent time playing card games together.

In the evening, we began our next trip. At 20:26, we took a train to Budapest, arriving at Kőbánya-Kispest station. From there, we took the metro to Budapest-Népliget around 21:26. At 23:15, we boarded a FlixBus to Kraków.

8th March – Day 168 – Kraków 🇵🇱

We arrived in Kraków at 6:00 AM.

🥐 First stop: Breakfast at a bakery.
🏛️ Next stop: Old Town – On the way, we saw the theater, then visited the Town Square. Since we were so early, the streets were empty, allowing us to enjoy the sights without the crowds.
🏰 We walked to Wawel Castle, which we saw from the outside.

At lunchtime, the girls ate self-made sandwiches they had prepared before departure, while Jordan and I went to Burger King.

At 12:35 PM, we took a bus to Prague.

🚌 21:50 – Arrival in Prague 🇨🇿
We went straight to our accommodation, which cost €13 per person per night.

9th March – Day 169 – Prague 🇨🇿

🥐 Breakfast at “Paul” – a French bakery where we had delicious croissants and macarons.
Visited a church at the end of the street.
🏢 Saw the Dancing House.
🏛️ Explored the Town Square with the Town Hall and nearby churches.
🌉 Crossed Charles Bridge to reach the John Lennon Wall.
🏰 Climbed many stairs to Prague Castle – From the top, we could see the German Embassy and, of course, the castle itself.

For lunch, we went to a shopping mall:
🥖 Jordan and I ate at “Baguette Boulevard” – a fast-food place focused on baguettes (like Subway, but better).
🍜 The girls ate ramen.

🗿 Visited the Franz Kafka statue.
🍺 Tried Czech beer at a nearby pub (since it’s famous for being really good).
🌃 Returned to the Town Square at night to see the illuminated buildings before heading back to the bus station.

🚌 23:45 – Departure to Budapest
We arrived home on Monday at 8 AM, exhausted but happy after an amazing trip!

This week was full of travel, exploration, and unforgettable experiences! 🏰✨ #ESCExperience #Kraków #Prague #WeekendTrip
