(April 7–13 | Days 198–204)

April 7 – Day 198
On Monday we gave presentations at a local school, introducing ourselves, our home countries, and the European Solidarity Corps. It’s always interesting to see how the students react and what they ask!

April 8 – Day 199
We visited the people with special needs again. 😊

April 9 – Day 200
Another workshop day! We continued our weekly program at the workshop. 👨‍🏫

April 10 – Day 201
A busy Thursday!
At 8 AM, students from a nearby school visited the youth center. Since we had already done presentations in their class, they recognized us.
We played some games and did fun group activities with them.

After that, I had my Hungarian lesson at our apartment, so I had to leave early.
Meanwhile, Ricsi designed a flyer for our upcoming Pixel Colony Games Day at the youth center (taking place on May 9), where we’ll offer video games, board games, and roleplaying sessions! 🎲🎮🧙

Later that day, I returned to the youth center to watch the movie “Flow” with the others. We had a short discussion about it afterward—always nice to reflect together.

April 11 – Day 202
Friday was Language Club day.

Before we went to the Youth Center we at Lángos in the Szolnok Market
We watched some French short animations that had no spoken dialogue, which made it a great opportunity to focus on interpreting visuals. We discussed the story and style with the participants afterward.

April 12 & 13 – Days 203–204
The weekend was free. On one of the days we went for a walk and ate at the “best burger restaurant in Szolnok” atleasts this is what Ricsi and Milan claimed,, so we went eating there. And it was actually good. And they also had vegetarian burgers. The place is called Beer & Burger.
