In this week I was visited by my mom and brother until Thursday where we went together back to Germany where I visit my family.

21. October – Day 51
On this Monday I were showing Szolnok to my family. First, we meet at a café & bistro called New York and drunk a coffee then I invited them to a Kürtőskalács after that we walked through Szolnok to the American styled shopping centre, where I bought a pullover at a New Yorker and showed my family the other Shops you can find there: MediaMarkt, Auchan, Aldi, H&M, Fressnapf, Müller, Takko Fashion, Decathlon, Praktiker, OBI, New Yorker, Deichman, CCC, KFC and Burger King. At Burger King we had lunch.
In the evening my mom cooked something delicious for dinner.

22. October – Day 52
Tuesday was the day where I finally had the chance to visit Budapest, and I did this together with my family. We went by train together with the Georgian volunteers, which wanted to visit Budapest too. When we arrived at the train station Budapest-Keleti the first thing the other volunteers saw was a shopping mall, which they immediately visited.

But my family and I had other plans. We booked an appointment for the Budapest-Cat-Museum at 2 p.m. And for the reason we had time left until the appointment first we walked through Budapest, bought a 24-hour group ticket for the public transportation, went to Burger King for lunch and took the metro to get nearby the museum. The metro station we exited was next to the parliament of Hungary, so we took photos of that and the plaza in front of it.

After that we had a coffee and a cookie at a café on our way to the Cat-Museum. Then we went to the Museum. It wasn’t really a museum about cats, but you could pet the cats in there if the wanted to be pet. The duration of our visit of the cat museum lasted for 90 minutes. When we were finished with the cat museum we took a Trolleybus back to Budapest-Keleti. There we went to the shopping centre where the other volunteers went before us, but they already went back to Szolnok.

Our last activity for that day was it to take the train back to Szolnok.

23. October – Day 53
The Wednesday was a local holiday of Szolnok, but not everything was closed. For instance, we went to the park from Szolnok and the park bistro there had open. Then we walked through the park, then we followed the Theiss river for a little distance. And for lunch we went to the café & bistro called New York, where we had burger.

24. October – Day 54
This was the day where I went together with my family back to Cologne by train. So, we spent almost the whole day in four trains plus a tram.
