March 24 – Day 184
We started the day at the youth center, but then Rebeka (a friend and former flatmate of Roli) and Petra (a Tesz-Vesz volunteer in her free time) invited us—Salome, Nino, Jordan, and me—for ice skating. It was the last day the rink was open since winter is over and the ice rink is inside a large festival tent.
Mariam had friends visiting, so she took the day off and didn’t join us.
The ice skating was fun but short. I fell once (I was okay!), but didn’t want to risk injury, so I stopped early. Jordan also fell a few times—he’s not very experienced—and eventually stopped too.
March 25 – Day 185
We visited people with special needs and spent time playing darts, foosball, and doing some light movement activities together.
March 26 – Day 186
On Wednesday, we went to Szajol and gave presentations about ourselves and our home countries to a group of retired people.
March 27 – Day 187
On Thursday morning, we presented the same content at a school.
Later, I had my Hungarian lesson, and then we rested.
Also, Nejc—a former volunteer who visited me last summer during a marathon—came to town again to run another race. We didn’t meet him yet, but we planned to on Friday.
March 28 – Day 188
On Friday morning, we visited another school for more presentations.
In the evening, there was an improv theatre event at the youth center. Jordan, Ricsi, and I attended, but the girls had to rehearse for their national evening.
March 29 – Day 189
Saturday was the Georgian National Evening!
But first in the morning Jordan and I went with Nejc to the race.
Salome and Nino gave a presentation about Georgia, performed a traditional dance, and sang two or three songs. Mariam helped by baking Khachapuri—but that was all she contributed. Salome and Nino had prepared the dough, and although Mariam had said she could sing too, she chose not to.

March 30 – Day 190
Sunday was a rest day for all of us.
